Overview

A two-day course that sets out the basics of occupational health and safety and gives a complete overview of ISO 45001 requirements for an OH&S management system. You cover top management commitment, worker participation, the OH&S policy, operational planning and controls, emergency preparedness and response, performance evaluation and continual improvement, and finish able to take part in an implementation project.

Safety failures cost lives, licences and contracts. ISO 45001 gives safety a management system with the same discipline as finance or quality.

Examination

A 1-hour exam, sat online through PECB, that tests the competency domains below. You can sit it at the end of the course or book it for a later date.
