Which certification is right for me?

Every standard has a ladder. The right step depends on what you do: understand the standard, run a discipline, or build and audit the management system.

Three steps

Most people start at Foundation. If you already work with the standard, you can go straight to Manager or Lead level.

  1. 1

    Foundation

    2 days, 1-hour exam, 14 CPD

The entry point. You learn the language, structure and requirements of the standard.

  2. 2

    Manager / Specialist

    2 to 5 days, 2 to 3-hour exam, 21 to 31 CPD

For practitioners who run a discipline day to day and need depth without leading a full certification project.

  3. 3

    Lead Implementer / Lead Auditor

    5 days, 3-hour exam, 31 CPD

For the people who build the management system and take the organisation to certification, or who audit it against the standard.
